Viverio Ltd — Version 1.0 — Effective May 2026
Almost everything stays entirely on your device. The only exception is optional AI features — and even then, only the text you type for that feature is ever sent. Viverio Ltd does not sell, share, or profile your data for commercial purposes.
Viverio is a product of Viverio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (Companies House No. 17224919). Viverio Ltd is the data controller for all personal data processed through its products. ICO registration number: ZC149799. You can verify this at ico.org.uk.
Viverio processes special category mental and physical health data under UK GDPR Article 9. The lawful basis is your explicit consent (Article 9(2)(a)), given when you chose to use Viverio and — for AI features — when you tapped ‘I consent’ in the AI consent dialogue. You may withdraw AI consent at any time in Settings › Privacy.
Your name, emergency contact, mood history, journal entries, CBT thought records, therapy progress, sleep logs, medication list, goals, appointments, substance tracker, habit log, safety plan, PHQ-9/GAD-7 scores, and all app settings are stored only on your device using local storage. None of this is transmitted to Viverio Ltd or any third party.
Retention: data is kept until you delete it via Settings → Reset App Data or uninstall the app. Viverio Ltd has no access to this data.
If you join the Viverio waitlist, your email address is processed by MailerLite UAB, our email marketing processor, under a Data Processing Agreement. MailerLite is based in Lithuania (EU) and stores data on EU infrastructure.
MailerLite UAB · Perkūnkiemio g. 13-91 · Vilnius LT-12117 · Lithuania dpo@mailerlite.com · mailerlite.com/privacy-policy
Your email is used solely to notify you when Viverio launches. We will not contact you for any other purpose without separate consent. To unsubscribe at any time, click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send — every Mailerlite email includes one automatically. You can also email waitlist@viverio.net and we will remove you within 5 working days.
When you use optional AI features, only the specific text you type for that feature is forwarded to Viverio Ltd’s secure server proxy, then to Anthropic, Inc. as our data processor under a Data Processing Agreement and Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
Anthropic, Inc. · 340 Pine Street, Suite 700 · San Francisco, CA 94104, USA privacy@anthropic.com · anthropic.com/privacy
Anthropic does not retain your text after generating a response. No other app data (mood history, journal entries, PHQ-9 scores, etc.) is ever sent to Anthropic. AI features are governed by Viverio Ltd’s AI Ethics Policy.
If you purchase a Viverio Plus subscription, purchase transaction data is processed by RevenueCat, Inc. as a data processor acting on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement.
RevenueCat, Inc. · 633 Tasman Drive · Sunnyvale, CA 94089, USA privacy@revenuecat.com · revenuecat.com/privacy
RevenueCat receives your Apple ID or Google account identifier and purchase transaction data from Apple or Google solely to verify your subscription status. RevenueCat does not receive your name, health data, mood logs, journal entries, or any other app content. This processing only occurs if you purchase Viverio Plus — free users’ data is not shared with RevenueCat. Transfer to the USA is under Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the ICO.
Text you type is scanned locally on your device for crisis keywords before any AI processing. If high-risk content is detected, no text is sent to the AI — crisis support is shown instead. This scanning happens entirely on-device.
To exercise any right, contact privacy@viverio.net. We respond within one calendar month.
Viverio does not use cookies, tracking pixels, advertising networks, or third-party analytics. No data is shared with advertisers. There are no adverts. See the full Cookie Policy.
Viverio is designed to meet WCAG 2.2 Level AA. See our full Accessibility Statement.
Crisis helplines (Samaritans, Shout, NHS 111) and Hub of Hope are external services. Viverio Ltd is not responsible for their content or privacy practices.
Viverio is distributed via Apple’s App Store (apple.com/privacy) and Google Play (policies.google.com/privacy). Apple and Google may collect diagnostic, usage, and subscription billing data under their own privacy policies. Viverio does not receive your payment card details. If you purchase Viverio Plus, subscription transaction data (not health data) is shared with RevenueCat to verify your subscription — see the RevenueCat section above.
Waitlist emails are sent via MailerLite — see the Waitlist section above.
Viverio is designed for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 18. Contact privacy@viverio.net if you believe a child has used the app.
Viverio is designed so that you are always in control of your own data. There are two ways to delete your data:
Viverio Ltd does not hold your health data on its own servers — it lives only on your device. The Reset App Data function is therefore the complete and immediate solution for deleting your health data, with no need to contact us.
Material changes will be shown in the app before they take effect. Contact privacy@viverio.net to request the previous version.

Last updated May 2026 — Plain English throughout, no hidden clauses.
By using Viverio you agree to these terms. Viverio is a product of Viverio Ltd, registered in England and Wales.
Viverio is a personal mental health self-management app for adults in the United Kingdom, developed and operated by Viverio Ltd. It is a wellness support tool — not a medical device, clinical service, diagnostic tool, or crisis service.
The core app is free and includes Module 1 (Understanding Anxiety), mood tracking, journalling, PHQ-9/GAD-7 screening, safety planning, and crisis tools. Viverio Plus (£4.99/month, with a 14-day free trial) unlocks Modules 2–7 and unlimited AI reflections. See section 12 for full subscription terms.
Viverio’s intended purpose is to support self-reflection, emotional awareness, and wellbeing habits. It is not intended to diagnose, prevent, monitor, treat, or alleviate any disease or medical condition. It falls outside the scope of the UK Medical Devices Regulations 2002 and does not require MHRA registration.
Viverio does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Nothing in the app — including therapy modules, PHQ-9/GAD-7 screening scores, AI reflections, or mood tracking — constitutes clinical advice or a substitute for professional mental health care.
PHQ-9 and GAD-7 are validated self-report screening tools. Scores require clinical interpretation by a qualified professional and must not be used as a basis for clinical decisions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional about your mental health.
Viverio is not a crisis service. If you are in immediate danger:
Viverio is intended for adults aged 18 and over in the United Kingdom. If you are a parent or guardian who has become aware that a child under 18 has used this app without supervision, contact privacy@viverio.net.
All personal data (mood logs, journal entries, sleep records, medication lists, goals) is stored locally on your device. Viverio Ltd does not collect, sell, or share your data. If you use optional AI features, only the text you type for that feature is sent to our secure server for processing — nothing else. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
AI reflections are generated by Anthropic’s Claude model and are not reviewed by mental health professionals. They are clearly labelled as AI-generated and should not be treated as clinical advice. AI consent (a UK GDPR privacy decision) is required before any AI feature is used and can be withdrawn at any time in Settings.
AI access is available to Viverio Plus subscribers only. Free users have no AI access. During the 14-day free trial, AI reflections are capped at 50 total. Paying Plus subscribers have unlimited access. See our AI Ethics Policy at viverio.net.
You agree to use the app only for lawful personal use. You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or distribute any part of the app. The app and all content is owned by Viverio Ltd or its licensors and is protected by UK copyright law.
Use Settings → Reset App Data to permanently delete everything from your device instantly. For any other data rights request, contact privacy@viverio.net.
To the fullest extent permitted by UK law, Viverio Ltd excludes all liability for any loss or damage (including indirect, consequential, or financial loss) arising from use of, or inability to use, the app; reliance on any content, score, or AI output; failure to seek professional advice; or any crisis situation in which the app was used or relied upon.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
If you have a complaint about Viverio, contact support@viverio.net in the first instance. We aim to respond within 5 working days. Our full Complaints Policy is available here. If you remain unsatisfied, you may contact the ICO (data protection), EASS (accessibility), or Samaritans/NHS for clinical safety concerns.
Viverio Plus is an optional paid subscription (£4.99/month) that unlocks Modules 2–7 and unlimited AI reflections.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Viverio Ltd — Version 1.0 — May 2026
Viverio does not use cookies, tracking technologies, advertising SDKs, or analytics tools of any kind. This page explains what we do use, and why it does not constitute tracking.
Viverio is a native iOS application. It does not use web browsers to deliver its functionality and does not set or read HTTP cookies. The WKWebView component used by the app does not load any external web pages during normal operation.
Viverio uses iOS localStorage to persist your app data (mood logs, journal entries, settings, etc.) entirely on your device. This is not a tracking technology — it works identically to storing data in a local file. This data never leaves your device, is not accessible to Viverio or any third party, and can be deleted at any time via Settings › Reset App Data.
Viverio uses Apple’s standard iOS frameworks including LocalNotifications (on-device reminder scheduling), Contacts (only when you explicitly import an emergency contact), and optionally HealthKit (read-only; data never leaves the device via Viverio). These operate under Apple’s own privacy terms.
When you use optional AI reflection features, the text you type is transmitted to Anthropic’s Claude model via Viverio’s secure server proxy. This is not a tracking technology. See the Privacy Policy for full details.

Viverio Ltd — Version 1.0 — May 2026
AI features in health and wellbeing products carry significant ethical responsibilities. This policy sets out the principles that govern every AI feature in Viverio.
Viverio AI features do not diagnose any medical or psychiatric condition. They do not recommend medications or treatments. They do not replace clinical assessment, therapy, or crisis services. They are not supervised by mental health professionals. They are reflection and journalling aids only.
Viverio currently uses Anthropic’s Claude model. Anthropic was selected on the basis of their published safety research and data processing commitments. A Data Processing Agreement is in place. Anthropic does not retain your text after generating a response.
AI models can produce biased or culturally inappropriate outputs. Viverio mitigates this by specifying UK English, inclusive, non-clinical language in all system prompts, and reviewing AI output quality as part of pre-release testing. Users can report inappropriate AI responses via report@viverio.net.
