Terms of Service

Version 1.1 — Effective May 2026 — Registered in England and Wales

⚠ Viverio Ltd products are self-management wellness tools. They are not medical devices, clinical services, or substitutes for professional health care. In an emergency, call 999 or Samaritans on 116 123.

1. About Viverio Ltd and These Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of all applications and services operated by Viverio Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Companies House number: 17224919.

By using any Viverio Ltd application or service, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms.

3. Eligibility

All Viverio Ltd applications are intended for adults aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom. By using any application, you confirm that you meet these requirements. Our applications are not designed for use by children under 18.

4. What Viverio Ltd Products Are — and Are Not

4.1 What our products are

Viverio Ltd products are self-management and wellbeing tools. They may include: mood and symptom tracking; evidence-based psychoeducational content; validated self-report screening instruments presented as screening tools only; safety planning features; crisis signposting to UK emergency services and helplines; sleep, substance use, and habit tracking; reflective journals with optional AI-assisted prompts; goal setting and medication reminders.

4.2 What our products are not

Viverio Ltd products do not diagnose, treat, prescribe for, or monitor any medical or psychiatric condition. Screening scores are self-report results — they are not clinical diagnoses and require professional interpretation.

5. Crisis and Emergency Situations

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental health support, call NHS 111 and select option 2, or contact Samaritans on 116 123 (free, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week).

Viverio Ltd products include crisis signposting features and keyword detection designed to surface emergency resources when certain language is detected. These features are provided on a best-efforts basis and must not be relied upon as a substitute for contacting emergency services.

6. Your Account and Data

All personal data you enter into a Viverio Ltd application is stored exclusively on your device. Viverio Ltd does not transmit this data to its servers. When you use optional AI features, only the specific text you type for that feature is forwarded to our secure server proxy and then to Anthropic’s Claude model. This text is not retained after processing.

You may delete all your data at any time using the Reset App Data function within the application. This action is permanent and irreversible.

7. AI Features

Viverio Ltd applications may include optional AI-assisted reflection features powered by Anthropic’s Claude model. These features require your explicit consent before use and can be revoked at any time in Settings. AI-generated content is clearly labelled throughout and: is not reviewed or supervised by a qualified mental health professional; is not clinical advice; may occasionally be inaccurate or inappropriate; and is filtered to prevent responses to content indicating a mental health crisis.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use any Viverio Ltd application: for any unlawful purpose; to attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent security features; to attempt to reverse-engineer or extract source code; to share your access with others; or in any way that could harm, endanger, or harass other persons.

9. Intellectual Property

All Viverio Ltd applications and their content — including therapy module content, design, software, and documentation — are owned by Viverio Ltd or its licensors and are protected by UK copyright law.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law: our products are provided ‘as is’ without warranty of any kind; we do not accept liability for any decisions made based on information within our products; we do not accept liability for any clinical outcome arising from use of our products; and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount you paid for the relevant product in the 12 months prior to the claim (or £10 if you used a free tier only).

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability which cannot be excluded by law.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our products shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. If you have a concern or complaint, please contact support@viverio.net. We aim to respond within 5 working days.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the relevant application at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after notification constitutes acceptance.

14. Subscription Terms

14.1 Free tier

Each Viverio Ltd product has a permanent free tier. Core health tracking, safety planning, and crisis resources will always be free. Subscriptions unlock additional features — never the safety net.

14.2 Auto-renewal

Paid subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID or Google account is charged within 24 hours before the end of each billing period.

14.3 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time via your Apple ID account settings or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

14.4 Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple or Google in accordance with their standard policies. Viverio Ltd does not process subscription refunds directly.

14.5 Payment processing

Payments are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play). Viverio Ltd does not receive, handle, or store your payment card details. Purchase transaction data is processed by RevenueCat, Inc. on our behalf solely to verify subscription status.

14.6 Price changes

We will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increase within the relevant application before it takes effect.

14.7 Lapsed subscriptions

If your subscription lapses, all free-tier features remain available without interruption. Paid features will be inaccessible until the subscription is renewed. Your data is preserved.
